What is Propolis?
Propolis is a natural bee product consisting of phenolic flavonoid substances that bees produce from the resin of trees and plants. The main function of propolis in the beehive is to create and maintain a clean environment. Propolis consists of hundreds of different components. Depending on the plant source, propolis can always vary slightly.
What is Raw Honey?
Raw honey is honey that is taken directly from the beehive and consumed and is not pasteurized and unfiltered. During pasteurisation, honey is heated to temperatures above 45 °C (65 °C - 75 °C). Filtration is the process of catching pollen that is not visible to the naked eye, thus delaying the crystallization of the honey. However, honey is actually a natural food that can be consumed directly from the beehive without any treatment. Pasteurisation and filtration can reduce the phenolic and flavonoid structure, enzymes, vitamins and antioxidant properties. Since raw honey is not pasteurized and filtered, its nutritional content is preserved in all its naturalness and purity.
What is Ginger?
Ginger is a member of the ginger family and can grow up to one meter tall with long, thin leaves and yellow-red flowers and is persistent. The root tubers are used as spices. Ginger is one of the safest foods under the investigations of the FDA (American Food and Drug Administration). Ginger contains phenolic substances with more than 400 different ingredients.
Turmeric is a member of the ginger family and has yellow flowers, large leaves and is a perennial plant species. It is also known as Indian saffron. Turmeric, whose main active ingredient is turmeric flavonoid (curcumin), contains vitamins C-E and betocarotene as well as various essential oils.
What is Cinnamon?
Cinnamon belongs to the laurel plants and is an evergreen, aromatic ally. It is a very tasty spice. Cinnamon naturally contains many active ingredients, especially polyphenols. It also contains trace elements such as calcium, chromium, copper, iodine, iron, manganese, zinc, phosphorus and potassium.
